Myra Stevenson

Myra qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1998 and then spent three years in mixed practice in Surrey. She returned to the University of Edinburgh to undertake a residency for three years in Small Animal Internal Medicine under the guidance of Mr Jimmy Simpson and Dr Marge Chandler. She gained the RCVS certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2004.

After completing the medicine residency she joined Vale Vets in Dursley where she has been responsible for the internal medicine cases since November 2004. Myra deals with a variety of internal medicine cases but she has a particular interest in gastroenterology and endoscopy.

Myra also has extensive experience with urology, haemotology and oncology cases. Myra has two children and is married to another vet. In her spare time, Myra plays hockey for Wotton-under-Edge ladies hockey team.
