Laura qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2007 and has worked in a variety of disciplines. She worked in China with moon bears and the Gambia caring for equines before settling in the UK. Laura’s UK roles include neonatal equine intensive care nursing and cardiology nursing.
In her time as a cardiology nurse Laura adopted Flo, a 4 year old border collie with a hole in her heart (now fixed). They have had many adventures together including living in Scotland on a 1500 acre farm with 2000 sheep to keep Flo occupied.
Laura's career progressed into head nurse and hospital coordinator roles, leading to her current position as referrals manager. Her role involves all aspects of managing the referrals team and ensuring clients, patients and vets are all looked after.
