Julia Halsey

Julia qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008 and has worked in many veterinary practices around Gloucestershire. Julia joined us, here at Vale Vets and Referrals, to broaden her exposure to working within our Referral department. Julia has a range of skills; her passion & expertise lies with canine behaviour & consulting, building a rapport relationship with patients and their owners. Julia also enjoys puppy and kitten clinics allowing her to follow pets through their development and provide owners with support and advice with ownership. 

Another passion of Julia’s is ward-based nursing, nursing patients through their stay and assisting in getting them back to full health, to then be able to discharge them back to their owners. 

Outside of work Julia enjoys fitness which includes going on jogs with her labrador Monty. Having fun spending time with friends and family along with running a busy household with her husband and their two teenage children. 

Qualifications - Higher National Diploma (foundation degree), National Diploma, National Certificate in Veterinary Health Studies
