Richard has wide experience in soft tissue surgery, with a particular interest in oncological and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he is experienced in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery including investigation and treatment of difficult lameness, complex fracture management in dogs and cats, investigation and management of cranial cruciate disease, carpal and tarsal fracture luxation and management.
Richard studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge and began his career in a mixed practice in Bath before heading a surgical team in Bristol for 6 years.
Richard’s wife Katie is also a vet and they live locally with their children and border terrier, Twig.
