Receptionist Required

Hours: Part time
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, plus 1:5 Saturday Morning's

We have two vacancies for a Receptionist role, to join our team here at Vale Vets and Referrals.

We are a busy small animal hospital and are available 24/7 with onsite care for first opinion and referral clients.

Both vacancies are permanent, part-time roles, working 31 hours and 21 hours, 5 days a week. The hours are specifically to work the afternoon/evening shift, until 730pm. In addition, you will also be required to work 1:5 Saturday's (morning only)

The main responsibilities of this role will involve meeting all visitors to the practice, answering telephone calls to deal with client enquires and book appointments, register new client onto our computer system, organise diaries, check client and patient details to ensure accurate records, take payments, handle insurance claims, dispense medication/prescriptions, educate clients about practice services, keep the reception area clean and tidy and work closely alongside all practice staff members.

Experience: Customer Service - 1 year (preferred)

Benefits (subject to pro rata) Salary: £10.65 per hour, 6.6 weeks paid holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays, Company Pension Scheme, Service based holiday entitlement increases, Uniform, Generous Staff Discount Scheme and Birthday leave
